We settle reflected ceiling plans, outlets and recess positions with the lighting designer before drylining begins. After that every luminaire sits where it belongs — and not where the outlet happened to be.

You see the lighting moods as a rendering before the first cable run is laid — dinner, cooking, television, stairs. What is decided there does not have to be corrected later, and correcting would mean opening the ceiling.
Not for individual luminaires. As soon as lighting, shading and climate are to respond to one scene together, a common layer is needed — and for that KNX is the open, long-lived route.
