Our future is digital – that much is certain! What will the smart home of the future look like? This is a question that has to be asked in construction projects, because our homes are designed to last for several decades and should therefore not be obsolete as soon as they are completed. Modern smart home technology already enables maximum comfort and efficiency gains.   The central idea behind the living of the future is that you control your trades depending on your living habits. For example, you simply tell your house or apartment that you are going to bed, and all the lights turn off centrally, the blinds are lowered and the alarm is activated.   In large neighborhood projects, there are numerous overriding issues that should also be taken into account. Intelligent parking space and charging station management, a neighborhood app that can be used to book restaurants and delivery services, and a smart energy concept are just a few examples that should be considered.
